This chocolate peanut butter pie is made from chocolate and peanut butter… I mean do I really need to say any more than that?
This sweet, rich no bake desert is exactly what your sweet tooth has been begging you for. It is so easy to make that the hard part is just waiting for it to set in the fridge.
You can make this pie the night before or early in the morning for the perfect consistency.
Ingredients you will need
- 1¼ cup Chocolate baking crumbs
- ¼ cup butter melted
- 1 pkg cream cheese 250g
- ½ cup smooth peanut butter
- 1 pkg vanilla instant pudding
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cup tubbed whipped cream thawed
- 3 oz semi-sweet baking squares
How to make chocolate peanut butter pie
mix crumbs and baking squares together then press them into a pie plate, place it in the fridge to set up a bit while you mix the filling.
in a large bowl add cream cheese (softened) peanut butter and whisk until well blended
add pudding mix and milk, continue to whisk together until smooth about 2 min
add 1 cup whipped cream, mix it all together
pour mixture into your prepared shell and smooth the top to be as level as possible.
place the pie back in the fridge to chill
in a microwave safe bowl add 1 cup whipped cream and your baking chocolate
microwave on high for 30 sec at a time, stirring each time in between until everything is melted and well combined.
allow this to cool
pour the chocolate mixture on top of the pie and spread put evenly over the top of the pie. leaving a bit of the filling showing on the edges.
in another (or the same) microwave safe bowl add 1 tbsp of peanut butter and microwave for 30 seconds.
mix then microwave again if you need the peanut butter to melt more into a liquid perfect to drizzle.
drizzle the peanut butter over the top of the pie in any design you wish.
chill in the fridge for 4 hours to fully set before slicing into it and enjoying.
