Cranberry sauce has always been something that is either there or its not. some people love it while other cant stand to have it on the plate. If you make it home made with this recipe I can almost guarantee you will be making it again and again for years to come.
I myself have never been much of a fan. To be fair however the only experience i have had with cranberry sauce has been the canned version. Yes some people swear by the can and will not even try a home made version. That’s obviously ok. But I will encourage you to at least once try this home made version.
if for no other reason than your home will smell so freaking good while you are making it.
Ingredients you will need
- Cranberries- use fresh for the best results but a bag of frozen could result in a similar flavour
- Navel orange- used for the zest and the juice
- Water
- Sugar
- Brown sugar
- Cinnamon stick- you could use 1 tsp of ground cinnamon if you don’t have a stick.
