These cheddar cheese bagels are by far my favorite I’ve made so far. They are the perfect combination of soft with that classic chewy texture.

These bagels are delicious straight out of the oven and if stored in an airtight container stay fresh for 3-4 days later. They won’t need to last that long though. You will have them gone in no time with how amazing they are.

Ingredients you will need

  • Yeast – creates the bubbles and makes the dough rise
  • Sugar – to feed the yeast so it will do its job
  • Water – added to bind all the ingredients together
  • Flour – use all purpose flour, a gluten free alternative will not work in this recipe
  • Salt – added to bring out the flavour of the other ingredients
  • Grated cheddar cheese – You can use any variety of melting cheeses. I used chedar but any you like should work.
