make these cookies at home. Bake the whole batch or ball the dough and freeze for quick cookies in smaller batches.

ingredients you need to make classic chocolate chip cookies

  • butter
  • brown sugar
  • granulated sugar
  • eggs
  • vanilla
  • cup flour
  • baking soda
  • salt
  • semi sweet chocolate chips

how to make them

1.pre heat

pre heat oven to 375 f 

2. Cream wet ingredients

cream together softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar

add eggs and vanilla and mix well

3. Add dry ingredients

add flour, baking soda and salt then mix everything together until everything is well combined and you no longer have any dry ingredients visible

4. Add the chocolate

fold in the chocolate chips

5. Bake

drop 1.5 tbs spoonfuls of cookie dough onto a lined cookie sheet about 2 inches apart 

bake for 10 min or until golden brown 

6. Cool

allow to rest on cookie sheet for 2 min the transfer to cooling rack

store in an air tight container

  • 2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
