Homemade Cheese Crackers

Hey there! Some links on this page are affiliate links which means that, if you choose to make a purchase, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. I greatly appreciate your support!

These homemade cheese crackers are filled with flavor and crunch. Since I’ve made these myself buying store-bought crackers just doesn’t have the same flavor these do.

My family loves these crackers as a side dish to any lunch or even just for a quick and delicious snack. they can also be added to a charcuterie board along side my spice habanero jelly ready to impress just about everyone.

The best part about these crackers is that they can be made with so many different flavors. using different cheeses and even adding in some of your favorite spices can change the flavor profile entirely. I know I will be experimenting with them shortly. If you choose to do that please share with me how they turned out. I would love to hear!

Ingredients you will need

  • Shredded cheddar cheese – Choosing a full flavored cheese will ensure a full flavored cracker.
  • All purpose flour
  • Cornstarch – Helps to keep the crispiness of the cracker
  • Kosher salt – brings out the flavor of the other ingredients.
  • Unsalted butter cold – adds full flavor and a smooth texture to the recipe.
  • Ice water – keeps the ingredients from melting or warming up before
  • Kosher salt for toping
