When I call this a loaded quiche I’m not kidding. Of course, you can make this with a store-bought pie shell or make it homemade (recipe here) either way this is your new favorite quiche recipe.

Ingredients You will need

  • Eggs
  • Mayonnaise
  • Fetta cheese
  • Garlic salt
  • Milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cremini mushrooms
  • Red bell pepper
  • Diced old cheddar cheese
  • Cooked spinach
  • Cooked bacon pieces
  • Baked pie crust

How to Make Loaded Quiche

1. Prepare pie shell

Par-bake your pie dough based on the instructions provided in the box instructions if you are using a store-bought crust. If you would like to make your crust it is pretty easy. I have a simple yet delicious recipe here. Allow the crust to cool completely before filling it.

2. Mix filling

In a large bowl crack 5 eggs, add milk, mayonnaise, fetta cheese, garlic, dried herbs (use what you like), salt, and pepper to taste. Whisk till fully combined.

3. Add mix-ins

This is where you have full control over what you put in your quiche. this is also a great way to use some vegies you have around the house that might otherwise be ready to go bad. Roughly chop mushrooms, peppers, and cheese, and add to the egg mixture.

Cook spinach in butter till it has wilted and cooked down, fry bacon then allow both to fully cool before adding to the egg mixture.

4. fill pie crust

Fold all the ingredients together the pour into a fully cooled pie shell.

5. Bake

Place the pie on top of a baking pan to catch any accidental drips then place in fully pre heated oven for 40-45 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the middle no longer has a giggle.

6. Bake

Allow the quiche to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
