This time of year just feels like the right time to bake a bunch of cookies doesn’t it? I have put together a small list, adding some of my favourite cookies I’ve made in the past and can not wait to make them to share with my friends and family this year.
of course there are so many other recipes on here that you can make for your friends and family, I personally love all of the cookie recipes here and the other listed on my site.
some of these recipes are my grandmas recipes, which hold a special place in my heart of course. some of them are classic never fail type of recipes and others are some i had a bit of fun with and they turned out so good I cant wait for you to try them yourself.
Peanut Butter Cookies
You all probably already have a favourite peanut butter cookie recipe. If you try this recipe, you will surely be impressed. This recipe is one that I remember my grandma making when I was young and when I found it written in her very own handwriting I’m not going to pretend it didn’t take me days to stop crying.
I hope you try this recipe soon and get a really good hiding spot for them or they will be gone very quickly.
S’mores Cookies
S’mores to me have a place in both summer and winter. They are for sure a great treat to make around the campfire with your family on a warm summer night.
However
Making a delicious s’mores fireside beside a beautifully lit Christmas tree has its way of bringing a delicious sweet treat to the holiday season
why not skip all that mess though? Ditch the sticks and sticky fingers and make these tasty smores cookies instead.
Hot Cocoa Cookies
OH MY CHOCOLATE! these cookies are so delicious and perfect to really impress Santa with this year.
Who needs a basic chocolate chip cookie when you can leave these out for Santa and earn some extra brownie points with the big guy.
the best part about these is they look a lot more complicated than they are. which is exactly why they have a very special place on the list of my favourite cookies.
Peanut Butter Blossoms
these cookies are a classic, They have so many different variations that you can make them into and when you try them you will want to make more and more.
these are great cookies to add to a platter or gift box since they look fancy but not complicated and wont mess up any of the surrounding cookies.
Funfetti Cookies
add a touch of colour to your cookie platter with these soft and chewy sugar cookies.
use any colour of sprinkle and embellishment you want. Making them perfect for any these at any time of year.
Gumdrop Cookies
these cookies another recipe i remember from childhood. i think my grandma really liked these because she always had a batch made in her kitchen to share.
they are the perfect amounts of sweet with and oatmeal base that creates a texture like no other.
I just know you will love these as much as my family does.
I hope you loved making all of my favourite cookies.
Be sure to let me know which was your favourite and what I should add to my list for next year!
