Strawberry lemonade popsicles are exactly what you need to cut through this intense heat we are experiencing already this summer.

I don’t know about you but this summer I have been looking for any way possible to beat the heat. It’s been hot and sticky and so not for me.

with this heat, the desire to cook or bake has gone right out the window. My desire to have something sweet however has not.

finding that no-bake option is a priority. Having a frozen treat that can help cool me down is just a bonus.

Recently I made some homemade lemonade that was easier than I thought it would be. It was so refreshing a delicious that I don’t think I will ever buy the store-bought stuff again.

After I tasted how delicious it was I knew I had to make a popsicle out of it. Adding extra flavor I crushed strawberries. this amazingly refreshing treat was born.

a local hot dog stand we love to go to all summer offers a frozen strawberry lemonade slush drink and I get it every time we go. this popsicle tastes exactly like that and I am so excited about that.

Notes:

if your strawberries aren’t as ripe as you would like you can slice them and add just a small amount of sugar. let them sit in the fridge for about 20 min until juice starts to form then you should be able to smash them easier. freezing times differ from freezer to freezer
