  • 1 cookie sheet
  • 1 1.5 tbsp cookie scoop
  • 1 cooling rack

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2⅔ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • 2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • preheat oven to 375°f
  • after allowing the butter to soften and come to room temperature add it to a large mixing bowl.
    1 cup butter
  • add brown sugar and granulated sugar, cream using a hand beater or stand mixer if you have it. beat until everything is combined.

  • add 2 eggs and vanilla, and stir until fully combined.
    2 large eggs, 1 tsp vanilla
  • add in flour baking soda and salt. beat until fully combined and no flour is visible.
    2⅔ cup all-purpose flour, 1 tsp baking soda, ½ tsp kosher salt
  • add in chocolate chip and fold them in.
    2 cup chocolate chips
  • on a lined baking sheet using a cookie scoop spoon out cookies leaving about 2 inches of space between each of them for spreading.
  • bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are golden brown and middle is no longer shiny.
  • allow cookies to settle on the cookie sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack to cool completely.
