Bake cake as per instructions on the box
allow cake to cool completely
mix milk and pudding mix and refrigerate until it has become pudding. Prepare according to instructions.
if whipped topping is frozen remove it from the freezer to allow it to thaw enough to use.
In the bottom of your serving dish layer some of the cooled cake crumbled with clean hands. enough to cover the bottom.
spoon some of the pudding on top to cover without mixing it into the crumbs.
next layer some of the whipped topping. again be careful not to mix it into the pudding layer.
sprinkle the top with chocolate and toffee chips.
repeat layers, cake, pudding, whipped topping, then chocolate and toffee chips. I was able to repeat layers 3 times. you make have less or more depending on how big your serving dish is.
cover and let sit in the fridge for at least 1 hour. allowing the layers to set up and meld slightly.
scoop with a large spoon and serve.
