pre heat oven to 350° f
in a medium bowl cream together butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar.
add egg, milk, and vanilla. combine fully using hand mixer.
add flour, oats, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. using a wooden spoon fold wet and dry ingredients together.
taking 1 cup of the trail mix separate out the almonds and cashews, from the rest of the mix and roughly chop them.
add trail mix to cookie dough and fold in until it has been well distributed throughout.
spoon drop 1 tbsp of dough onto a cookie sheet spaced about 2 inches apart
bake in the oven for 10-12 min or until lightly golden browned.
cool on the cookie sheet for 5 minutes before transferring it to a cooling rack to cool completely.
