Gumdrop Cookies

delicious sweet oatmeal cookie with chewy gumdrops

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup gumdrops

Instructions
 

  • pre heat oven to 350℉
  • In a large bowl cram together butter, sugar and brown sugar
  • add eggs and vanilla and mix until fully combined.
  • in a separate bowl whisk together flour, rolled oats, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  • combine wet and dry ingredients, and stir together until you no longer see any dry ingredients
  • fold in gum drops.
  • line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. use a 1.5 tbsp cookie scoop to drop cooking on a prepared baking tray leaving 2 inches of space for spreading.
  • bake 10-12 min or until edges are golden brown
  • cool on a cooling rack

Notes

if you are using parchment paper for baking your cookies will spread more than if you were to use a silicone mat.
