Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter softened
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2⅔ cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • ½ cup colored sprinkles

Instructions
 

  • pre-heat oven to 370°f
  • after allowing the butter to soften and come to room temperature add it to a large mixing bowl.
    1 cup butter
  • add brown sugar and granulated sugar, and cream using a hand beater or stand mixer if you have it. beat until everything is combined.

  • add 2 eggs and vanilla, and stir until fully combined.
    2 large eggs, 1 tsp vanilla
  • add in flour baking soda and salt. beat until fully combined and no flour is visible.
    2⅔ cup all purpose flour, 1 tsp baking soda, ½ tsp kosher salt
  • add in chocolate chips and fold them in.
    2 cups chocolate chips
  • scoop 1.5 tbsp of cookie dough using a cookie scoop or spoon into your hand. roll into a ball then in a bowl of colored sprinkles. roll around in the sprinkles until fully coated then place the cookies on a baking sheet leaving about 2 inches between to allow for spreading.
    ½ cup colored sprinkles
  • bake for 8-10 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the middle is no longer shiny.
  • allow cookies to settle on the cookie sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack to cool completely.
