pre heat oven to 350℉
in a large bowl add softened butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar. cream the ingredients all together until everything is nice and smooth.
add eggs and vanilla to the bowl then mix to combine.
proceed to add your dry ingredients, flour, oats, cinnamon, salt and baking soda.
mix everything together until fully combined and ingredients are well distributed throughout the dough.
add in your choice of raisins, mix it all together and set aside.
line your baking tray with parchment paper
using a spoon or a cookie scoop. drop 1.5 tbsp size balls of dough onto the cookie sheet leaving 1 to 2 inches of room between each cookie so they can spread.
bake in fully pre heated oven for 11-15 minutes until top of each cookie is no longer shiny and the edges are slightly golden brown.
allow to cool on cookie sheet for 3 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely.
store in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
hide them from your friends and family because they are way too good to share and they will eat them all way too fast.
