Raisin Bran Muffins
A great classic muffin recipe, perfect for a quick breakfast on the go or an afternoon snack

1 12 cup muffin pan
12 Muffin liners
1 set measuring spoons
1 set measuring cups
1 Bowl
1 whisk
1 rubber spatula
- 1 cup bran cereal
- 1 cup milk
- 6 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ½ cup sugar
- 1½ cup flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup raisins
pre heat oven to 350°f
In a medium bowl add bran cereal and milk then allow to soak for 10 minutes.
add oil, egg, vanilla, and sugar. whisk it all together breaking the egg and fully incorporating all the ingredients.
add your dry ingredients, flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
mix all the ingredients together but do not over-mix. When everything is combined stop mixing.
fold in the raisins
Line a muffin tray with 12 paper liners and divide the batter evenly between them.
bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
allow to cool
