Turkey Dressing

Stuffing your turkey is a thing of the past, making your dressing on the side is way easier and tastes so much better and won't absorb all the moisture from your turkey.

Ingredients
  

  • 16 cup dried bread cubes
  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 cup onions diced
  • 2 cup celery diced
  • 3 tsp poultry seasoning
  • ½ tsp thyme
  • ½ tsp sage
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1-3 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp parsley

Instructions
 

  • pre heat oven to 350℉
  • dice your onion, and celery
  • to a large frying pan add the butter, celery and onion. sauté it all together until the onions become translucent and the celery begins to soften
  • to the pan add the thyme, poultry seasoning, sage, salt and pepper stir and continue to cook until everything becomes fragrant. Remove from heat
  • in a large bowl add the eggs and 1½ cups of chicken broth then whisk it all together.
  • add your dried bread crumbs and the cooled onion mixture
  • toss everything together until the bread cubes are all coated. you want the cubes to be wet but not soaked. add more chicken broth as needed and mix until you have the right consistency.
  • spray a 9x12 baking pan with cooking spray
  • pour the dressing mixture into the pan and cover with tin foil
  • bake for 45-60 minutes stirring every 15-20 minutes
  • cook until you have your desired doneness
